William is the CEO of Ford Drive In this role, he is charged with developing and delivering Ford’s flexible lease program for ridehail drivers. Ford Drive currently operates a fleet of Mustang Mach-E’s which are made available to Uber drivers in California on short term flexible leases. Prior to joining Ford, he led Global Operations for Superpedestrian where he owned the P&L for Superpedestrian’s scooter sharing business, LINK. Before Superpedestrian, he led the JUMP business in US and Canada for Uber. Prior to Uber, William spent 21 years in the Daimler Group, including 10 years in senior leadership roles with the car2go Group, where he served as Global Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer for North America. William was raised in Northern California and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. He currently resides in Northville, MI with his wife and three daughters where he enjoys volunteering as a youth basketball coach and mentoring startups.
