As the Director of Civic Innovation for the City of South Bend, Madi’s portfolio includes strategic broadband expansions, in-demand technology workforce development, university and coalition relationship management, and resident assistance outreach. Before joining the City, she completed a fellowship at enFocus, Inc, a not-for-profit serving northeast Indiana that engages talent with local organizations, where she worked alongside not-for-profit organizations, healthcare entities, higher education, and local government to develop talent, optimize processes, and design technology solutions. Madi is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Engineering Leadership and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and continues to practice engineering principals through human-centered design thinking, team relations management, and project execution and delivery.
