Leigh-Ann A. Buchanan, Esq., is a founder, investor, and strategic advisor with over 15 years of experience as an attorney and social impact executive. She is the President & CEO of Miami-Dade Innovation Authority, which provides commercialization support to companies piloting tech solutions for pressing public challenges. Buchanan is also the founder of Nyah Project, clearing the pathway for underrepresented students to access higher education, with 100% of fellows attending college and over 90% winning scholarships, with students earning over $30 million in scholarships since 2014. Her body of work, which leverages innovation and technology to transform communities, has unlocked over $80 million in philanthropic investment. Major publications like the New York Times and Inc. Magazine have featured her insights. She holds executive certificates from Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Columbia University, as well as a J.D. from the University of Miami, and a B.A. from Bethune-Cookman University.
