Ken is currently the Coordinator of Strategic Transport Planning for the Inner West Council, in Sydney, Australia. He has spread his 40 years of strategic transport planning experience between consulting and local government. His roles have included senior associates in several consultancy's as well as Principal Transport Planner for the City of Sydney. His work has taken him to over a dozen countries including the US, Asia and the Middle East. Ken’s early experience included local area traffic he has focused on sustainable transport, including electric vehicles, cycling and walking. Ken and his team are currently in the process of rolling out a network of over 150 electric vehicle public chargers across the Inner West, in consultation with the NSW State Government, power providers and five selected charging providers Ken is keen to see technology used to progress sustainable transport uptake to achieve beneficial environmental outcomes, as well as community health and well-being.
