Jay has worked in the environmental sustainability space for over 15 years, working for government and not-for-profit organisations across renewable energy, energy efficiency, facility and fleet electrification, water conservation, waste management, and community education and engagement. His current role is Energy & Water Innovation Officer at Mildura Rural City Council and he's responsible for leading Council's effort to achieve zero net emissions and to become one of the most EV friendly municipalities in Australia. Jay played a significant role in the Charging the Regions project which saw the development of the largest ever EV charging network by local government in Australia. He’s also been instrumental in the development of policy and planning for the strategic roll-out of public EV charging infrastructure at both a local and regional level.
