Firdaus Shariff, Vice President, Marketing, Communication And Digital Customer Experience, Schneider Electric

Firdaus Shariff is Schneider Electric’s Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Digital Customer Experience and has ownership for their overall Brand to Order initiatives for the Middle East and Africa zone. She has responsibility for the strategy and development of their marketing function, including brand reputation and perception, demand generation and digital customer engagement and experience. She is a member of the Global Marketing International Operations Leadership team. Firdaus brings over 17 years of experience in building new markets, increasing market share and brand visibility and driving a digital-first mindset. She is passionate about leading and managing highly effective teams and spent eight years leading marketing at Cisco and a further nine years at SAP. Most recently, Firdaus was appointed to the board of the World Federation of Advertisers, as their ‘Regional Vice President’ for the Middle East region. She has also been recognized as ‘Most Influential Marketing Leader’ by Forbes Middle East, ‘Woman Super Achiever’ and ‘Most Influential CMO’ for the Middle East Region, from the Middle East and Asia CMO Council, ‘Marketing Maestro’ at the Reseller Middle East Awards and with the ‘Women in Leadership Achievement Award’ from the World Federation of Marketing Professionals. Firdaus holds a B.Tech. in Software Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
