Matthias Karl Köhler Vice President TECURITY® Head of Sales Matthias Koehler assumed the role of Vice President for the Western Hemisphere at Mühlbauer ID Services GmbH in February 2011, taking the lead in sales, marketing and business development. A key aspect of his position is to align market requirements not only with Mühlbauer's research and development initiatives, but also with the company's overall market strategy. Born in 1965, Mr. Koehler holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and brings a wealth of experience in sales and marketing to his current leadership role. Prior to joining Mühlbauer, he was Executive Vice President at SAFE ID from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, he held key positions at Giesecke & Devrient from 2001 to 2009, including Sales Director for Government Solutions and Director for Strategic Partnerships & Finances. With 25 years of experience in the security printing and smart card industry, Matthias has played a significant role in influencing the market. Prior to joining G&D, Koehler made significant contributions to international infrastructure projects in transition and developing countries while working for a consulting and investment firm. In addition to his professional achievements, he is a founding member of Global Partners Bayern e.V. and a member of the Bavarian Economic Advisory Board.
