The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a UN specialized agency, created in 1944 upon the signing of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention). Alongside the Convention's 193 Member States and global aviation organizations, ICAO works to develop international Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) which States reference when developing legally-enforceable national civil aviation regulations. Through the SARPs, today’s global air transport network is able to operate close to 100,000 flights, safely, efficiently, and securely in every region of the world on a daily basis. Sales Profile
