As Senior Principal Consultant for TradeTrust at IMDA, Sin Yong focuses on establishing TradeTrust as the international standard, driving thought leadership on TradeTrust matters internationally, and providing advisory guidance on technical issues pertaining to electronic transferable documents. Sin Yong initiated and spearheaded TradeTrust since 2019, making a significant impact on trade digitalization globally. Sin Yong has over 30 years of professional IT and leadership experience in trade facilitation logistics, maritime domains particularly in the China, South East Asia and South Asia markets. He represents Singapore as Head of Delegation at UNCEFACT and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Sciences, a Master’s degree in Management of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.
