Andrew Cheng, Representative, F.I.D.O. Alliance

Mr. Cheng Chun Chung, Andrew, serves as Chief Technology Officer at Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited and has been its Executive Director since November 15, 2011. Mr. Cheng has over 20 years' experience in IT-related business, covering internet security, domestic and international supply chain, logistics and finance.

He was a specialist in the consultancy on the setting up of a Public Key Infrastructure ("PKI") by the Hong Kong Government and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on the Code of Practice for Recognized Certification Authorities of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Government, a member of the Expert Review Panel of Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies, and a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Fintech Advisory Group.

Mr. Cheng holds a Master of Commerce degree in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sydney.

Beyond passwords: FIDO and the future of strong authentication

Riding on the digital transformation trend in the banking and financial servies, Mr. Cheng will demonstrate how FIDO authentication is built into existing mobile apps to make online authentication simpler and stronger for users.
