A skilled exponent of risk management strategy excels at high level stakeholder management, identifying trends and threads of similarity via data mining to deliver business continuity plans and added-value solutions. ♦ Spearheaded the smooth roll-out of ‘Project Stingray’ a £2.4M DVLA no-tax enforcement scheme which went live in October 2014. Designed and implemented this bespoke and Home Office approved system nationally across 32 static sites and 15 mobile police units. The scheme returned £157M to the Treasury within 4 months.
♦ Slashed production costs by an incredible 56% on ‘Project Gatekeeper’ a £75M Network Rail red light enforcement project. Astutely sourced and secured suppliers through skilful negotiation and tenacious pursuit, delighting exacting stakeholders.
♦ Averted potentially devastating losses and disruption at John Lewis after a complete store system failure. Swiftly implemented a robust crisis management strategy which saw full operations and a business as usual service resumed within just 35 minutes.
♦ Sensationally increased the number of automated level crossing offenders caught by a staggering 448% whilst seconded on merit to manage an Ofcom award-winning project to identify ‘light jumpers’ as the project lead with British Transport Police.
♦ Dramatically saved £15M p.a. and created an income stream by providing a driver retraining scheme in conjunction with the Police for the 6000 national level crossing ‘light jumper’ offenders saving £2500 per offender in administration and court costs at British Transport Police. Responsible for delivery of numerous time critical contracts across various public bodies. Managed the delivery and installation of over 1000 ANPR cameras across 9 counties and country wide. Managed complete estate refreshes from out-field to “back offices and processes”. Manage the companies team of six engineers, one Junior Project Manager and one service delivery manager, to response to new works and also fault resolution, Preventative Maintenance and other tasks.
Acted as single point of contact for technical and engineering questions for all customers and along with quoting for all new orders. Quoted and landed orders in excess of £8 million with current base within 24 months. Also generated numerous new business leads which are now landed customers.
Provided technical / submission review and pricing input for new business tenders. Managed responses and engineering works for customer SLAs (no SLA Breaches in 3 years). Completed external Salesforce Training in Large Tender and Sales submissions and Management.
Manage and liaise with all third party suppliers and contractors for works delivery. Work with and control all contact and works with Local Authorities, Highways England and all other parties.
Delivered 100’s of bespoke solutions involving Civils (Cabinets and Columns), BT Installation, DNO & Private Power Connections, Wireless Transmission, traffic management, BSEN40 (TR22) surveys and calculations. Design and Check Submissions (HE), Section 50 Permissions, providing customers with a one stop turn-key solutions.
Provided CCTV, Target Hardening and Electronics Security Solutions to protect above assets
Provided single point of contact for all R&D in regards to new products and offerings including 100% accurate and capture rate ANPR system for ports and road tolling combining ANPR, Radar, White Light and other integrations such multi network SIMS, NDAA Compliance (non Chinese cop set), long distance transmission, Battery Pack ANPR systems, Solar ANPR etc.
