Since launching in September 2020, we have created a network of over 500 people wanting to be part of the conversation. The primary focus is to offer support by creating opportunities through networking to discuss shared experiences and commonalities to support one another.
In 2022 our theme was diversity within the BPA Membership and across the Parking Sector. Working with the BPA's Technology, Innovation and Research Department, the Women in Parking (WIP) advisory group spearheaded a diversity research project to help us understand the diversity breakdown within the sector. This project came about from discussions with members during the WiP open meetings, highlighting the need for us all to see the bigger picture of what the challenges are and the steps we need to take as a sector to become more diverse and inclusive.
