Lt.Col. Tongkarn Kaewchalermtong, Ph.D., serves as a president at ITS Thailand and chairperson of the Transportation and Logistics Working Group at the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO). He is a pivotal member of the International Programme Committee at the ITS World Congress and holds a Board of Directors position at the ITS Asia-Pacific Forum. Dr. Kaewchalermtong's international reach extends to his roles in foreign affairs and transportation engineering at the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King's Patronage. He actively contributes to the standing committee on environmental sustainability for the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) and lectures in the Civil Engineering Department at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. He is the Vice President of the Intelligent CCTV Association (iCA). His expertise in civil engineering is further recognized through his advisory positions and previous role as secretary-general at the American Society of Civil Engineers - Thailand International Section (ASCE-TIS).
