Seunghyun (Shawn) is an experienced project manager and Chartered Electrical Engineer with 19 years of experience leading energy projects across over 20 Asia-Pacific countries. Prior to DNV, he spent five years at Tesla, where he managed battery energy storage projects throughout APAC. His responsibilities spanned a wide range of technical disciplines, including project engineering, sales engineering, commissioning, and compliance/certification for various types of BESS projects, including microgrid applications. He also brings over 12 years of experience in EPC engineering and engineering management for energy development projects, demonstrating a strong track record in delivering complex projects across diverse markets. At DNV, he performs technical due diligence, independent engineering, and owner's engineering for various Energy Storage System projects, and BESS product technology review.
