Eng. Nkosinathi Ndlela is a Managing Director of Afrilectrical Consulting and a registered Professional Electrical Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and is a Snr Member serving the Council of South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE). He has more than 15 years’ industry experience, gained in Consulting & Advisory Engineering, Construction Manufacturing of Electric Cables and Eskom Distribution. Nkosinathi has been extensively involved at the executive Planning, Design, Implementation & Project management of Infrastructure Projects (HV/MV Substations & Switching Stations, MV/LV Underground Cables & Overhead Lines (OHL) Distribution Networks, Rural Electrification Programme, Building Services Designs, Street lighting Designs and Renewable Solar Projects for Commercial Clients in pursuit of the Energy Mix Integration) and Electricity Master Plans & Management Plan for Non-Revenue Electricity Projects. Eng. Ndlela also serves as an Industry Advisory Board Chairperson at Mangosuthu University of Technology, an Industry Advisory Committee Member at the University of KwaZulu Natal and a Head of Provincial Stake Holder Engagement Portfolio with South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) in Kwa-Zulu Natal. He holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Durban. His driving force is not only merely the pursuit of infrastructure projects, but a noble desire to ignite positive transformative agenda of South Africa with a dynamic mindset embracing the belief that solutions are derived from flexibility in the face of challenges.
