Mohd is a faculty in the Computing Science department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), Kamloops, British Columbia (B.C.), Canada. His areas of specialty include web design programming, programming languages, databases and game design & development. He also teaches at the BC Centre for Opening Learning (BCCOL). He has been a curriculum developer and curriculum reviewer with BCCOL in a number of courses. Mohd was the international coordinator for his department for CIIS institute in Chandigarh, Northern India from May 2015 to April 2019. He is also the provincial articulation chair of British Columbia Computing Education Committee (BCCEC) that provides an essential link between autonomous institutions offering Computing Science programs, and as such are a critical factor in the smooth functioning and success of the BC Transfer Systems. Mohd represents BCCEC to British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT). He was a committee member of the K-12 coding initiative advisory committee with the Ministry of Education in Victoria, B.C. As for Health and Wellness, Mohd is a registered and certified fitness professional with BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA). His specialties are in Yoga Fitness – TFL, Pilates Fitness -- AFL, Older Adults and Fitness Theory. Mohd has been teaching Piloga (Pilates & Yoga - combo) since 2001 and instructing individuals who wish to be yoga instructors to the local community. He has presented workshops on globally at international conferences on Health and Wellness.
