Emma Oliver, Head of Teaching and Learning, Thomas's Battersea

Emma Oliver is Director of Teaching and Learning at the new Thomas’s Battersea Senior School in London. She is leading the development of teaching and learning pedagogy and practice, having previously held leadership roles in the maintained sector at two MATs, ARK and The Harris Federation. She trained as a history teacher, with Teach First, has one master’s degree in Leadership and Education from the IoE, University of London, a second master’s degree in Early Modern History from Birkbeck College, University of London and is currently working towards completing the NPQ for Headship.
