I’ve spent the last 25 years working in IT across the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors, including general practice and community-based organisations with highly distributed environments. I’m usually brought in during periods of transformation, where systems need consolidation, modernisation, and a clear path forward. A lot of my work has focused on uplifting environments that have grown organically or been left behind, bringing structure, security, and scalability without losing sight of the people actually using the systems day to day. I’ve spent most of that time in management or C-suite roles, but I’ve always stayed close to the technology itself. I tend to be drawn to organisations that are making meaningful change in the community, and I’m passionate about using technology to support better outcomes, whether that’s improving service delivery, strengthening security, or just making things easier for frontline teams. At the end of the day, I’m still a tech at heart! Someone who likes pulling systems apart, questioning assumptions, and building them back better.
