Stephen Butler is a highly accomplished technology and digital transformation executive with more than 30 years of experience delivering large-scale ICT strategy, operational leadership, cybersecurity uplift programs, infrastructure modernisation, and enterprise transformation across healthcare, financial services, mining and metals, engineering, manufacturing, retail, and corporate enterprise environments. Over the past decade, Stephen has become a recognised leader in Digital Health, holding senior leadership positions across major Victorian health organisations including, Cabrini Health, The Royal Women’s Hospital, and Austin Health. His work has focused on leading complex, mission-critical programs that improve clinical workflows, strengthen cybersecurity maturity, modernise digital infrastructure, and enhance both clinician and patient experience. Most recently, he led key strategic programs at Western Health including Cerner EMR optimisation, emergency department digital workflow enhancements, and the enterprise rollout of the Island Enterprise Browser integrated with Okta to strengthen security, simplify application delivery, and improve clinical and non-clinical staff productivity.
