Tyagi, an Associate Professor and Digital Health & Bioinformatics research lab head, has 20+ yrs of work experience in academia & industry. She also leader AI for sustainable healthcare systems at the RAIsE hub. Her research primarily revolves around the analysis of large-scale genomic and healthcare data to predict personalized risk profiles and care plans for various health conditions..  Her outstanding contributions to the field have garnered recognition in the form of prestigious awards and funding. Tyagi was a finalist in the Women in AI Australia/New Zealand 2022 awards in the AI in Health category and was named a Brilliant Woman in Digital Health in 2023. Additionally, she was elected to the leadership committee of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health VIC branch in 2023 and 2025 and serves on the ARC’s Medical Research Advisory (2025-27) and Research Australia.
