Laura Bird is a Research Fellow with clinical psychology background, working within the Supportive and Palliative Care Unit at Monash Health and Adjunct in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash University. She has broad research and clinical interests spanning emotional and cognitive health, patient care experience, and the intersection of technology and healthcare. Laura's research focuses on implementation and evaluation of innovative digital health technologies, such as telehealth-based tools, patient-facing mobile applications, and digital cognitive assessment tools, to enhance patient care and streamline healthcare delivery. At Digital Health Festival 2026, Laura will share her insights on how technology can be harnessed to create a more connected and patient-centric healthcare system.
