Kai Van Lieshout is the co-founder and CEO of Lyrebird Health, a Melbourne-based health‐tech start-up that builds AI tools to reduce administrative work for doctors. He co-founded Lyrebird while still a university student, after experiencing long delays in diagnosis of his own chronic illness, which motivated him to improve accessibility in healthcare. Its core product is an AI medical scribe that securely listens to patient consultations and automatically generates clinical notes, referral letters, certificates, and reports tailored to each practitioner’s style.
