Jonathan Rawstorn, Senior Research Fellow, Deakin University

As a digital health researcher, Dr Jonathan Rawstorn is committed to promoting inclusive practice and equitable access in healthcare, and translating his research into tangible benefits for communities, clinicians, and health systems. His innovative work aims help more people access high-quality exercise and behaviour change interventions to manage chronic health conditions. Combining aspects of exercise, behaviour change, computer, and implementation sciences, Jonathan designs innovative interventions, tests their benefits in experimental studies, and translates them into real-world practice. He is also interested in democratising research intellectual property, so promising digital health innovations can make it into medical and consumer markets to realise large-scale benefits.
