Dr Jarrod Marks is the current Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). Transitioning from a career in engineering/science to medicine, he brings a rich expertise in automation and computation to healthcare. Fascinated by complex adaptive systems, Jarrod is keen on leveraging his engineering skills to enhance healthcare processes to improve patient outcomes. In his role, he continues to utilise his technical background to improve healthcare delivery by collaborating with clinicians and technologists to improve the system’s ability to deliver quality, efficient, resilient, and sustainable healthcare.
