Hanumanth Valluri, Emergency Physician | Founder, Latrobe Regional Hospital | EMEDU

Dr Hanumanth Valluri is an Emergency Physician at Latrobe Regional Hospital and the founder and CEO of eMedu. An international medical graduate, he first specialised in nuclear medicine before relocating to Australia, where he trained in emergency medicine, intensive care, and rural and remote medicine. Over more than 25 years in healthcare and business, Hanumanth has worked in over 45 healthcare settings across Australia. That breadth has given him first-hand insight into the system's pain points, which he tackles using design thinking and innovation. eMedu began as an emergency medicine education provider and has since grown into a company delivering technology-driven solutions and consultancy for healthcare. He holds an MBA in strategy and governance, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is currently completing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence. At Digital Health Festival 2027, Hanumanth will explore how connection is transforming healthcare, and how clinicians, technology and systems working together can drive lasting, patient-centred change.
