Chris Boyd-Skinner is is a practicing clinician with over 15-years’ experience in critical care and has led national and international clinical governance in digital health initiatives for the Australian Government. He is a consultant to the World Health Organization’s Quality of Care and Patient Safety Office in Athens, Greece, having worked across child and adolescent mental health and digital mental health projects internationally. He is a founding member of the Ethical Assurance of Data-Driven Technologies for Mental Healthcare sub-committee hosted by the IEEE Standards Association at Cambridge University and the Alan Turing Institute, London. Chris holds a Bachelor of Nursing, post-graduate qualifications in Critical Care and a dual Master of International Public Health and Master of Health Management. In 2022 he was the recipient of a distinguished Winston Churchill Trust Fellowship. Chris' expertise spanning international public health, digital mental health policy and legislation, the safe and responsible use of AI and patient safety in the delivery of health technologies.
