Professor Yiyu Cai is a software engineer, a lecturer and a researcher with multidisciplinary training in Math, Computing and Engineering. He has over 20 years’ research experience in the field of Virtual Reality (VR) and its applications. In the last 10 years, he has been passionate in developing VR-enabled education technology for innovative teaching and learning. He was principal investigator for many projects funded by various public and private sectors. In addition to 4 books and 3 journal special issues edited, he has 160 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. He is keynote or invited speaker in France, The Netherlands, Japan, Korea, China, etc., at many international/regional conferences. He has organized about 15 conferences. He was elected co-President of International Simulation and Gaming Association
