Jack Patel, Asst. Prof of Economics, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Asia

Education: Jack Patel has a bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Economics from UCL, London), a post-graduate diploma in Education (PGCE Business and Economics Education from UCL Institute of Education, London), a master's degree (M.Sc. Economics and Finance from University of Bristol) and is due to complete his Ed.D (Doctor in Education from UCL Institute of Education, London) in June 2015.
Awards and Experience: Jack will be working at Embry-Riddle Worldwide from July 2015, teaching Economics as a full-time member of faculty.
Previously Jack has been teaching and leading departments for 11 years comprising of a secondary school in London, a private language school in Osaka, an International School in Dubai, a Polytechnic in Bahrain and a language enrichment centre in Singapore. He has recent experience in research and presents at international conferences. Jack Patel also tutors in GCSE, A-Level, IB, undergraduate and graduate level Economics and provides M.Sc. dissertation supervision.
Jack Patel has taught all over the world at all age levels including primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. He is a passionate department leader and educator for which he has received numerous teaching awards as voted for by fellow colleagues and students. In his time at Worldwide, he aims to develop numerous online courses, develop a journal of Economics and Aviation and also contribute to developing wider social aspects and collaboration on campus between staff and students.
Interests: His research interest is in Economics curriculum design and educational development.
