HKACE

Association

The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE) was founded in early 1982. To begin, the main objective of the Association was to kick-start and promote computer education in schools with collaborative efforts.

With the fast development of computer education in Hong Kong, the membership body of the Association has rapidly grown in leaps and bounds.

To head towards professionalism, the membership of the Association was classified according to the members’ pertinent qualifications, experiences and their contributions for computer educations. The Association was accepted as a professional body in the functional constituency of the Legislative Council. All the professional members are eligible to vote in the Information Technology Constituency.

Our Association will uphold our professionalism and team spirit, and continue to work for the well-being and development of IT education in Hong Kong.
