Our Story

The Marketplace for Clean Building Tech

From the team behind world-leading solar and energy storage events — part of a global energy portfolio encompassing solar & energy storage, HVAC, EV charging, and grid infrastructure.

ClimaTech , co-located with Solar & Storage Live London at Excel, is a new marketplace for the technologies that heat, ventilate, cool and automate buildings. It brings together heat pumps, district heating, solar thermal, heat emitters and thermal storage, MVHR and indoor-air-quality solutions, air conditioning, insulation, electrical installation, controls and building energy management systems.

The event places these technologies in front of the people who specify, buy and install them: installers, property developers and owners, building contractors and major energy users. It also connects manufacturers and suppliers with government, local authorities, utilities, consultants, financiers and the wider building-services ecosystem.

By co-locating with Solar & Storage Live London, ClimaTech creates one connected journey - from renewable generation and storage through to heating, cooling, building fabric and intelligent control.

Why Now?

2027 marks the next phase in the UK's transition to clean heat and energy-efficient buildings. Public funding, regulation and new-building standards are moving together, creating immediate demand across the supply chain.

  • The £15 billion Warm Homes Plan aims to upgrade up to five million homes and grow the heat-pump market to more than 450,000 annual installations by 2030.
  • The Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers £7,500 for eligible heat-pump installations, rising to £9,000 for eligible off-gas-grid properties replacing oil or LPG systems from 21 July 2026.
  • The Future Homes and Buildings Standards set a clear direction for low-carbon heating and higher energy performance in new homes and buildings.
  • Record Sales: UK heat-pump sales reached a record 125,037 units in 2025, up 27% year on year. The industry's focus has shifted from stimulating demand to scaling the supply chain.
  • Strategic Hub: London and the South-East provide a concentrated base of installers, developers, contractors, property owners and large energy users, while co-location gives ClimaTech immediate access to the established Solar & Storage Live London audience.
