Phil Douglas is a highly respected industry leader with over 45 years of experience in airline IT. He began his career in the late 1970s at Australian Airlines (now Qantas’s domestic operation) before joining the Unisys Airline Division, where he played a pivotal role in delivering key projects for airlines worldwide.

Since relocating to Germany in 1992, Phil has provided his expertise to Lufthansa, Lufthansa Systems, and Lufthansa eCommerce. In 2000, he founded 2e Systems, an aviation-focused technology company specializing in web, mobile, and kiosk solutions.

Under Phil’s leadership, 2e Systems has grown into a global company with five offices and a team of over 100 technology experts. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, 2e Systems provides cutting-edge solutions in flight booking, offer & order management, NDC, ancillary sales, and check-in. It also pioneers digital communication tools for passengers, ground staff, and flight crews, partnering with some of the world’s leading airlines.

For more than two decades, 2e Systems has built a prestigious client portfolio, including major carriers such as airBaltic, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, Edelweiss, Eurowings, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines, Lufthansa CityLine, SWISS, WestJet, and WestJet Encore.
