ACI Group’s roads division, Flomac, supports the UK and Ireland highways sector with specialist additives and technical solutions for asphalt production, road maintenance and sustainable surfacing. As a family-run business for over 35 years, ACI places sustainability, service and social value at the heart of its supply chain. Flomac is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Nouryon’s asphalt portfolio, including Wetfix® and Redicote® adhesion promoters and anti-strip additives, Redicote® bitumen emulsifiers, and Rediset® warm mix additives, which support superior compaction, improved moisture resistance and longer-lasting roads.

Flomac is also the asphalt-sector distributor for Ecopals EcoFlakes, a recycled-plastic polymer modification for asphalt that can reduce virgin polymer and bitumen use while improving resistance to rutting, cracking and ageing. EcoFlakes also support lower CO₂ and material costs in asphalt production. In addition, Flomac supplies American Gilsonite® for asphalt applications, a natural hydrocarbon resin used to strengthen asphalt binders, improve deformation performance, reduce temperature susceptibility and increase resistance to water stripping. Together, these solutions help deliver stronger, more durable and more sustainable roads.
