Siyabonga Gule began his career as an Industrial Engineer at South African Breweries and Sasol, driving operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. He later excelled at Transnet SOC Ltd., holding roles such as Senior Process Optimization Leader and Business Turnaround Project Manager, earning recognition with the Inspirational Leader Award. With an MBA from the University of Cape Town, Siyabonga combines his BSc in Industrial Engineering from Durban University of Technology (DUT), a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from GIBS, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from General Electric. His career highlights include achieving R1.7 billion in savings at Transnet, managing an R58 billion procurement event, and delivering an R4.5 million profit turnaround at Workers Life Group. Siyabonga is the founder of Beapo (PTY) Ltd., a leader in strategic sourcing insights for over eight years, transforming the supply chain industry. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Entrepreneurs' Organisation Durban (EO) and is a board member of Joseph Business School Africa (JBSA), championing impactful leadership and entrepreneurship.
