After graduating in a telecommunications engineering school in France, Nicolas has occupied various positions in the telecom industry, before joining the SNCF Group.
Since then, he has worked during 9 years on the strategy of renewing and modernization of the different industrial telecom networks used for operational purpose. He has contributed to the introduction of new IP-based networks and telecommunications systems, pursuing the objective to reduce the part of specific solutions and replace them by commercial of the shelf solutions, in order to lead toward economic efficiency and better global quality of service.
He is now working on the NExTEO Project, which is a new rail traffic management system which will be deployed on both SNCF infrastructure and rolling stocks, in the scope of EOLE Project which will achieve the extension of Express Line E in Paris.
As part of this project, he is responsible for the global technical architecture, including the different networks: fixed fiber-based networks, radio networks, on-board networks and interconnection with existing industrial networks.
