Dr. Maximilian Matschke is the Managing Partner at Anura Partners, a boutique consulting firm specialised in logistics strategy. Max started with consulting more than 15 years ago, working for blue chip companies already in his early 20s before joining McKinsey & Company in Germany focussing on strategy, organisation, and sales for clients in the US, UK, and Europe. He has been Managing Partner at Anura Partners for 2.5 years and focusses on improving logistic flows and trade in Africa, Europe, and emerging economies around the globe. Max conducted his PhD research with the Universities of Witwatersrand Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Mainz on youth unemployment in South Africa and built scenarios for 2040, which were published as a book. He holds a Master and Bachelor degree in business with mechanical engineering from TU Munich and an honours degree in technology management and he was a scholar at Columbia Business School in New York.
