For too long, 15,000 of us have been quietly disappearing behind the "Bookkeeping" banner. We start out building businesses, but somewhere between the endless balancing acts and deadlines, our identities get swallowed whole. We become the role, forgetting that beneath the spreadsheets, we are women, mums, wives, and individuals with our own stories to tell.

This session is a raw, honest reflection on my own journey through the trenches—a look at what I’d do differently, what I’d fiercely protect if I did it all again, and the hard-won lessons learned along the way.But more than a look back, it’s a roadmap for what comes next. I’m stepping into my next chapter moving toward "pretirement" with as much air, grace, and laughter as I can muster. It hasn’t been a perfect science, and there are bound to be plenty of bumps ahead, but this time, I’m navigating the road as myself first.
