Mary is the Director of Education Innovation and Strategic Partnerships for the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the Drexel University College of Medicine, the Director for the Center for Business and Program Development at the Institute for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease, and the co-Director of the interdisciplinary Biomedical graduate programs. She specializes in creating and managing graduate programs, and working with industry to forge interdisciplinary partnerships, such as those with BMS, CYTO|PHL, and B+Labs. She has a special interest in advancing work in cell and gene therapies.
