Kathrin Adlkofer is a Partner at Konzeptwerft Holding GmbH, a company that specialises in sports and health. She simultaneously works as the CEO of Cellbox Solutions GmbH, a spin-off from the Lübeck based Fraunhofer Research Institution for Marine Biotechnology and Cell Technology, that provides innovative portable CO2 incubators for worldwide live cell transport. Kathrin Adlkofer holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Following her academic career at the universities of Berlin, Harvard and Zurich she completed her final post-doctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute in San Diego, USA. In 2000 Kathrin Adlkofer made the transition to industry, working in Business and Corporate Development at Evotec AG. There she successfully closed several service deals and established strategic alliances with other Pharma and Biotech companies. After her time at Evotec AG, she headed MediGate GmbH, a technology transfer subsidiary of the Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Before heading the health company, mei:do concepts GmbH, Kathrin Adlkofer also spent two years as the CEO of the North German Life Science Agency GmbH (Norgenta), the cluster agency for Life Sciences in the German states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
