Mayra Moura Oliveira is a registered nurse with a PhD in Collective Health and 19 years of experience in immunization. She currently serves as Pharmacovigilance Manager at Instituto Butantan and as a Director of the Brazilian Society of Immunizations (SBIm). Her work focuses on vaccine safety, pharmacovigilance, and strengthening immunization programs through the education of healthcare professionals. Mayra has led and contributed to the training of immunization professionals across Brazil and has also participated in capacity-building initiatives in Portuguese-speaking countries, including Mozambique and Angola. Her expertise bridges vaccine safety surveillance, risk communication, and professional education to support confidence in immunization.
