Lucas Phillips is the Acting Head of Vigilance Development at the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Since joining the Agency in 2021, he has held leadership roles across signal assessment, adverse incident management, vigilance operations, and system development. He has played a key role in the development and continuous improvement of the MHRA's Yellow Card system, the implementation of SafetyConnect, and the advancement of digital solutions that enhance the collection and use of safety data. Now leading the Vigilance Development team, Lucas is focused on advancing the MHRA's vigilance systems, enabling deeper integration with healthcare, and contributing to international initiatives that strengthen patient safety and regulatory collaboration.
