Accelerating Pharmacovigilance with AI: from ICSRs identification and aggregate reporting to signal detection and assessment

With the rapid adoption of AI, driving patient safety with pharmacovigilance in a compliant manner is more attainable than ever, reducing workload and maintaining oversight.

In this session, we’ll explore strategies to manage the ever-growing volume of safety information and how AI can reduce costs and save valuable time for pharmacovigilance teams. Explore how AI research assistants can help with ad-hoc queries for aggregate reporting and the assessment of potential signals within the context of class safety intelligence.

  • Leverage AI to drive automation across ICSR identification, E2B (r3) prefilling for case processing, aggregate reporting and safety signal identification.
  • Understand how AI-supported target and class-level analysis accelerates signal validation and aggregate reporting while maintaining explainability.
  • Strengthen biological assessment and ensure consistency in Safety Evaluation Reports through AI-enabled translational safety intelligence.
  • Understand how built-in validation mechanisms ensure AI outputs are accurate, reliable and precise across safety-critical workflows.
