There are plenty of AI pilots in place, and an increasing number of pharmacovigilance use cases are now moving into scaled operations. Yet the real opportunity lies beyond automation. In this session, we share our experience of introducing and operationalizing AI across pharmacovigilance, drawing on lessons learned from multiple generations of technology. We will discuss the principles required to make AI trustworthy, human-centric, and enterprise-ready, including governance, human oversight, and continuous learning. Attendees will gain practical insights into opportunities, challenges, common pitfalls, and the key foundations needed to translate AI innovation into measurable patient safety outcomes.
