Dr. Stefanie Amend-Mall is a pharmacist and senior pharmaceutical professional with more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry spanning across patient safety/pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical development, and global project management. She currently serves as Director Patient Safety Europe at Sandoz, leading a team of L-QPPVs across multiple European countries and overseeing country patient safety operations, compliance, risk management, and affiliate support.
Her experience covers PV governance, inspection readiness, organizational transformation, global development and portfolio management, process optimization, and digital system implementation. She played a key role in establishing the stand-alone Sandoz Patient Safety organization following the separation from Novartis. Dr. Amend-Mall holds a doctorate in Natural Sciences, is a Specialist Pharmacist for Drug Information and a certified Project Management Professional. She is a frequent speaker on pharmacovigilance, QPPV oversight and risk minimization, as well as pharmaceutical project and portfolio management.
