Leith is the QPPV and Clinical Affairs Manager at National Bioproducts Institute NPC, a not-for-profit manufacturer of biological medicines in South Africa. She oversees the clinical aspects of the business, including Pharmacovigilance. She is a pharmacist with more than 20 years’ experience in various sectors, mostly in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Her research forms part of a PhD in Internal Medicine at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal, with a focus on pharmacovigilance in rare diseases and Orphan Medicines.
