Mr. Ravdeep Singh Anand, an entrepreneur who graduated from Cyprus College, Nicosia. He set up Travel World (1998-2004) where he was responsible for marketing and operations. In 2001 he started Breakdown 365, a 24 X 7 on road assistance for cars, a helpline service catering to 200 cities across India and 4 other countries where he served as the CEO.
 
After his Son Karanveer was diagnosed with a muscle wasting disease, Duchenne Muscular dystrophy in 2003 and years of waiting for some treatment to start in India, Anand decided to take the bull by the horns and had to change lanes in his career. He founded Dystrophy Annihilation Research Trust and set up a state of the art Research & Development facility dedicated to finding a treatment / cure for Muscular Dystrophy. He has been involved in bringing together many Muscular Dystrophy associations, parents and patients in order to create awareness of Treatment, Drug Trials and empower research for realizing the potential for full rehabilitation of those diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.
