Christopher A. Hatwig, MS, RPh, FASHP, is President of Apexus and a nationally recognized healthcare executive and expert in the 340B Drug Pricing Program, specialty pharmacy, and medication access. He leads Apexus in its role as HRSA’s contracted 340B Prime Vendor and in developing innovative solutions that support 340B stakeholders and the patients they serve. Hatwig is a frequent national speaker and trusted resource on 340B policy, drug pricing, program integrity, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare economics. Prior to Apexus, he held progressive leadership roles in pharmacy, purchasing, and value analysis at Parkland Health & Hospital System. He is a Fellow of ASHP and holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Hendrix College.
