Mansa Mbenga is a medical doctor with more than 15 years of professional experience and recognized expertise in the management of drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) and TB clinical trials. Mansa has led health system innovations and capacity-building initiatives, with extensive in-country experience supporting TB program development and training healthcare staff in good clinical practices. Mansa brings strong credentials in clinical research, Programmatic Management of DR-TB, provides technical assistance at regional and country levels, and supports operational research. Mansa also contributes to the development of training programs and knowledge management strategies to strengthen TB service delivery. Mansa supports the implementation and scale-up of novel shorter treatment regimen in many countries around the world. He is a member of WHO Euro Virtual Medical Consilium, regional Green Light Committee and core team member of the child and adolescent TB working group.
