Rob Hudson, Head of Digital Distribution, Aberdeen Standard Investments

As Head of Digital Distribution for Aberdeen Standard Investments Rob is responsible for growing new direct-to-client retail channels and partnerships for the Group and, in so doing, further developing Parmenion’s client facing digital platform.
Previously Rob was with wealth manager Charles Stanley, where he led the launch and fast growth of the new direct –to-client platform Charles Stanley Direct. Rob started his career with Hargreaves Lansdown in the earlier years (1994-1999). He then joined Egg PLC to help set up the UK’s first direct fund supermarket.  Rob has also spent time as a management consultant specialising in retail platforms, and with Chartwell Group where he managed the Direct business and helped move the IFA practice to a platform model and sale to Close Brothers.
