Thorsten Reif is Head of Automotive (IoT) APAC at Deutsche Telekom IoT, where he leads the company’s automotive IoT business across the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, he focuses on enabling connected car strategies and strengthening partnerships between European and Asian automotive ecosystems.

Thorsten has been with Deutsche Telekom for over 15 years, holding a range of commercial and operational roles. Prior to his current position, he served as Key Account Manager for Automotive IoT Solutions, where he was responsible for major automotive clients, driving M2M/IoT engagements and managing complex commercial deals. His experience spans key account development, IoT solution sales, and long-term customer retention in the automotive sector.

He began his career in product management at Lohmann & Rauscher, before moving into project controlling and later transitioning into telecom and IoT. Thorsten brings a strong mix of commercial, operational, and cross-regional experience, with a focus on connecting global automotive players with scalable IoT solutions.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Avans Hogeschool.
