WHO QUALIFIES FOR A FREE PASS?
Direct civil service employees of U.S. Federal Executive Departments, cabinet agencies, independent federal commissions, and the U.S. Congress.
Direct public employees of state government departments, state CIO offices, state treasuries, legislatures, and state agencies.
Direct employees of city halls, county administrations, local municipal bodies, regional councils, and metro district offices.
Direct representatives and employees of Native American Tribal governments, Alaska Native corporations, and U.S. territorial administrations.
Direct personnel and civil employees of the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, law enforcement agencies, and emergency management.
Direct public sector managers of public energy utilities, regional transit authorities, port authorities, and state water facilities.
Direct staff of public healthcare systems, state-funded higher education institutions, public school districts, and government research labs.
Important Clarification: Only direct public sector and government employees qualify for free passes. Government contractors, IT vendors, consultants, defense contractors, and third-party service providers performing services for public agencies do not qualify.
All free passes are subject to verification and approval by the Tech in Gov America team.
